Approval By Site (New) page brings everything you need to sign off a site's week onto one screen. Hours, payment requests, contracted hours and clocking checks all sit against the same operative row, so you no longer move between Detailed Approvals and Payments For Your Approval to finish one site.
Choose a site and week
Select the Chime Time tile.
Select the Approval By Site (New) tab.
Set the business week you want to view data / approve for.
Pick a site from the list on the left.
Approval by site - main page
Each operative has one row, with a single total per day and a weekly Total on the right. That daily figure is everything booked that day added together — standard, travel, lodge, holiday, sick, and any other pay rate — so you can read the week without opening anything.
NB: There are 10 max individuals on each page - use the paging numbering on the top to scroll through all pages.
Select the chevron to expand the row. One sub-row appears per pay rate that has hours against it that week, and those are the cells you edit.
Editing a cell updates the day total and the weekly Total straight away.
A day cell is coloured by pay rate. Time off shows as a coloured pill, a day split across two pay rates shows as proportional blocks, and a night shift carries a moon symbol. Hover a cell to see which types make it up.
The consolidated row itself is read-only, and the breakdown cells are read-only if you do not have permission to edit that operative's timesheet.
Edit and approve hours
Edit hours in the boxes where appropriate
When happy with hours, select the green approve tick on the right hand side.
Smaller green ticks will appear to signal that individual is approved
To undo: Select Undo red icon to put a row back to unapproved and editable.
If you want to bulk approve the whole page - go to the bottom right button 'Approve All'. This will approve all 10 individual's hours.
Handle payment requests
Payment requests now sit on this page, so daily payments, lodge, travel and the rest are dealt with alongside an individual's hours.
At the top of the page, turn the Payment requests toggle on.
Expand an individual's row. Their requests are listed beneath the pay rate breakdown, each showing type, date, reason, amount or unit, and status.
On a pending request, select Approve or Reject. The status changes on the spot and the counters update.
Select Approve All Payments on the row to clear every pending request for that operative at once.
Select Add Payment Request to add a new payment request to this individual. Choose the payment type, enter the amount or unit and a reason, and pick the day it applies to.
Each operative's collapsed row carries a payments icon with a count per status, so you can see that requests exist even with the toggle off. The Payment requests — X to approve badge at the top of the page is always shown while any are pending.
Check the clocking
Turn the Clocking statuses toggle on and expand a row to see Clocking in status and Clocking out status beneath the contracted hours, day by day.
Each day shows up to four checks: location, facematch, device and sign-in/out. Where the clock-in and clock-out disagree, the worse of the two is shown.
Clean checks are muted so exceptions stand out. Where an automatic sign-out was recorded, only that indicator is shown.
A coloured bar appears after the Total on the collapsed row whenever the week holds an exception — red if any day is red, amber if only amber — so you can spot it without expanding.
Use Case
Used by Contract Managers / Site Managers signing off a site's week, and by Payroll staff checking hours and payments before a pay run.
Tips
Leave the Payment requests toggle off while you scan the hours, then turn it on to clear the payments. The counter tells you they are there either way.
Check the clocking bar on the collapsed rows before you approve — it points you at the days worth opening.
If you can't see this tab, talk to your CSM to turn it on
