Add a Timesheet from Your Approvals

Create a timesheet on the app for someone who has not logged any hours

Your Approvals lists the timesheets waiting for you to check and approve. It show 'ready for you' and 'no timesheet' - approve timesheets from your phone and create a new one for someone (like you can do on the web).

Open up Your Approvals

  1. Open Your Approvals.

  2. Select the filter at the top of the list. There are two options, each with a count:

  • Ready for you – timesheets waiting for you to approve. This is a list, open up an individual to start approving.

  • No timesheet – people who have logged nothing for the week.

Add a new timesheet

  1. Select No timesheet. A week selector appears at the top of the list.

  2. Use the arrows to move between weeks. The list and the count both refresh as you move.

  3. Each person appears as a card showing only their name and trade — there are no hours, pay rates or totals to show yet. The card carries a single action: Add timesheet.

  4. Tap Add timesheet to individual you want to add for.

  5. The site picker opens. Search the list and select the site the person was working on.

A timesheet cannot be created without a site.

  6. The timesheet is created and opens straight away, with all hours set to 0 hours 0 minutes.

  7. Enter the required hours for each day.

  8. Approve the timesheet following the usual approval process.

NB: Because you created it, the timesheet is yours to approve and the person moves into your Ready for you list.

If you add a timesheet against a site whose hours you do not approve, it is still created — a message explains that the hours will go to that site's approver instead.

Use Case

Used by Site Managers, Supervisors and Contracts Managers approving hours from site. The same job can be done on the web through Detailed Approvals - see Manually add a Timesheet.

💡 Tips

  • Check No timesheet before you start approving. The count tells you how many people have logged nothing before you open the list.

  • Whoever creates the timesheet becomes its approver, so add it yourself only if the hours are yours to sign off. If the site belongs to someone else, the hours go to them.

  • Double-check the site before you confirm it, especially for anyone working across several projects.
