Updated yesterday

What's New in Dragonfly 1.8

Dragonfly 1.8 focuses on improving accountability and privacy across the platform. Highlights include mandatory comments on timesheet amendments in Detailed Approvals, a new dropdown for approval change reasons, and new individual privacy controls for selfie capture and location recording.

Timesheets

Required comments on Detailed Approvals

▌ New Feature

Release: Dragonfly 1.8

You can now make it mandatory to add a comment whenever hours are amended in Detailed Approvals. A pop-up will appear when the green approval button is pressed, prompting the user to add a reason. All comments will pull through to Reports → Variation Report.

Please note: this is not enabled by default. Contact Support to have it switched on.

Approval change reasons dropdown

▌ Improvement

Release: Dragonfly 1.8

Instead of typing a free-text comment every time a timesheet is amended, users can now select from a dropdown list of pre-configured approval change reasons for quicker and more consistent entries. Contact support to set up your reasons in System Settings — once added, they will automatically appear for users to select.
