Site notes are quick and easy way to log observations that capture text and photos on-site — they're immediately visible to managers and create a timestamped record linked to the site.
Adding a new site note
Open the Chime app home screen
Select Site Notes tile.
Here you can filter and view existing site notes (dependent on your permissions)
To add a new note, click the + new note button
Enter a short text description (e.g., delivery arrived, issue spotted, manhole cover fitted).
Tap Add Photo and take a live photo using the app camera (or from your camera roll)
Add additional photos if needed to fully document the observation.
Press confirm and save
Site Note added. This will sync automatically with the Chime Platform. It will be visible at Chime Time > Site Notes Tab and also Chime Time > Individual Site > Explorer Tree > Site Notes

Site notes are designed for quick, informal logging — use them for deliveries, progress photos, general observations
Site notes replace the need to use WhatsApp or text for site events — everything is captured in one place, linked to the site, and accessible to the right people.
