Create a new Onboarding Form

Build custom onboarding forms to collect key information before starting on site.

You can build custom onboarding forms to collect key information from new users, suppliers, or anyone in your address book. These onboarding forms help streamline processes by gathering key details such as personal information, skills competencies, bank details etc - before a person arrive on site. This saves time and ensures your workforce is compliant and ready to go.


Creating an Onboarding Form

  1. Select the Workforce Management tile from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click the Induction Forms tab at the top.

  3. Select the Add New Induction button.

  4. In the pop-up, name your onboarding form (e.g. New Operative Onboarding), then click Save.

  5. You’re now ready to start building your onboarding form using widgets.

Adding Widgets to Your Form

  1. Click the Add Widget button.

  2. Choose a widget from the dropdown (e.g. Contact Details, Emergency Contact, Bank Details) - see all widget options here.

  3. Continue adding widgets for each section you need.

  4. Use the arrow icons on the right to reorder your sections.

  5. When you're happy with the layout, click Save and Close.

Adding Skills widget to the Form

  • Select the Skills Widget

  • Click Select Skills icon

  • Select the required skill from the dropdown list.

  • If it’s not listed, click Add New to create one.

  • All submitted skills will sync automatically to the user's Skills section on their profile.

Note - You can also select ‘Skills Requirement Widget to collect skills information. First set up at Skills Requirement and then select this

Adding a Checklist to the Form

  1. Add the Checklist widget.

  2. Click Select Checklist.

  3. Choose an existing checklist or create a new one.

Tip: It’s best to create your checklist before building your onboarding form.

Note - The checklist will save as a PDF on the individual’s profile (not as individual fields). Talk to your CSM about reporting database options - this will need require you having a tech-savvy person within your company to use the raw data.


Use Case

This feature is used by Super Users and Admin roles to tailor onboarding for different types of users—such as operatives, subcontractors, or suppliers. You can create as many onboarding forms as you need, and once completed, the data is automatically synced to each user’s profile.

  • It’s best to create your checklist before building your onboarding form.

  • Use widgets like file upload and video links to enhance onboarding.

  • Forms sync directly with the user profile—no double entry needed.

  • Use onboarding forms to stay compliant before anyone steps on site.
