Red & Yellow Cards

Issue red and yellow cards to manage your team

Updated over 2 weeks ago

You can issue Red and Yellow Cards to manage workforce behaviour and compliance. A Yellow Card acts as a warning, deactivating an account temporarily but allowing reactivation in future. A Red Card is a permanent ban, preventing the account from ever being reactivated. This structured approach helps managers deal with minor and serious offences consistently while keeping team records accurate.

Select your individual

  1. Select the Address Book tile.

  2. Go to the People tab at the top.

  3. Search for and select the individual you want to manage.

  4. Click on their name to open their profile screen.

  5. On the left-hand side, you’ll see a green tick that says Account is Active.

  6. Click the Deactivate Account button below.

  7. A pop-up will appear with a list of deactivation reasons.

Choose Yellow or Red Card

  1. Choose the appropriate option:

    • Left the Company – Use if the individual has finished working or is between projects (can be reactivated later).

    • Red Card – Issue if the individual is permanently banned from working with you (cannot be reactivated).

    • Yellow Card – Issue if the individual has received a warning or committed a minor offence (can be reactivated in future).

  2. Add a comment if needed to explain your decision.

  3. Tick the checkbox to confirm the action.

  4. Press Confirm.

  5. The user is now moved into archived records, with all previous data saved.

Use Case

  • Mainly used by Admins, Payroll staff, or Contracts Managers.

  • Useful in industries like construction where teams change frequently.

  • Helps maintain compliance, manage workforce behaviour, and control costs by keeping only active, valid users on the system.

💡 Tips

  • Yellow Cards are reversible; Red Cards are permanent.

  • Use the comment box to record reasons — this helps with audits or future rehires.

  • Archived users won’t count toward your active user total, helping manage system costs.
