You can assign a Skills Requirement to a site or project to help ensure that everyone on site meets the necessary compliance criteria. This links your Skills Rule to a specific location, giving you clear visibility over who is qualified - and blocking access (if necessary) for those who aren’t.
Setting a Skills Requirement on a Site
Go to the Chime Time tile.
Click the Sites tab at the top.
Select the site you want to configure.
On the Details page, scroll down to the Skills Requirement box.
Click the pen (edit) icon under 'Present on Site'
In the pop-up, click Select Skill Requirement.
Choose the relevant Skills Rule from the list.
Click Save.
✅ Your rule is now applied to the site. Here's how it works:
At least one person needs to have one or multiple specific skills/certifications, e.g. SSSTS, First Aid on the site meet the rule, the site appears as compliant (GREEN).
If anyone is missing a required skill, the site status will turn RED as non-compliant.
Optional: Apply a Skill Requirement to Site Sign-In
On the same Site Details page, go to the Skill Requirements box.
Click the pen (edit) icon under 'Sign In Requirements'
Select the Skill Rule from the picker list.
Click Save.
🛑 Now, if a user does not meet the skill requirement, a warning message will appear on their screen. They will still be able to sign into site but it will be flagged that they haven't met requirements.
This adds an extra layer of control to make sure only qualified individuals are working onsite.
