Cloning a Form

Don't start from scratch, clone and make creating forms easier and quicker.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Cloning forms is a quick and efficient way to build out your forms library without starting from scratch. Once a form has been created, you can duplicate it, make edits, and rename it — saving significant time. Since all widgets are editable, movable, and removable, cloning gives you full flexibility to adapt a template for new use cases.

Clone a form

  1. Click on the Forms tile

  2. In your forms list, double-click on the form you want to clone

  3. On the bottom right-hand corner, click the blue ‘Clone’ button

  4. Your form is now duplicated — you’ll see “- copy” added to the end of the name – this means it is the clone version

  5. Start editing your cloned form:

    1. Move, delete, or update widgets

    2. Add new fields

    3. Rename the form as needed

  6. Once you're done, press Save & Close

Your newly cloned form is now ready to use and added to your forms library.
