Signing in using Tablet Pin Code

How to sign in using Site Tablet & Pin Code

Updated over a week ago

PIN code sign-in on the site tablet allows you to sign in and out of site without needing the Chime app. This provides more flexibility and can be combined with QR code sign-in or standard app-based sign-in. You can mix and match methods depending on you’re your needs.

Know your unique 6-digit pin code

NB: The 6-digit Tablet pin code is NOT THE SAME as your unique pin code that you receive via text for you to log in. They are different and for different purposes.

  • Your unique pincode (sent by text from ChimeNow) - this is for logging onto the Chime app

  • Tablet pin code (in your profile section) - this is only used for tablet sign in

  1. If you have the Chime app, tap your profile picture on the home screen to open your contact profile.

  2. Below your photo, note your unique six-digit PIN code.

  3. If you don’t have the Chime app, the site manager needs to go to your profile on their Chime App. Under your profile photo, they will find your unique six-digit Pin code

Signing into Site

  1. On the site tablet, select PIN Sign In.

  2. Type in your six-digit code and press Login.

  3. The camera will open — take a selfie with your head and shoulders clearly visible, removing hats or sunglasses.

  4. If required, review and digitally sign any documents that appear.

  5. Press Finish to complete the sign-in.

  6. At the end of the day (or when leaving site), repeat the same process to sign out.

💡 Tips

  • Always check your six-digit PIN in your own Chime App (or get your Site Manager to check on theirs).

  • If you forget your PIN, you can easily find it again under your profile picture.

  • Keep selfies clear and unobstructed to avoid errors.

  • Offering both PIN and QR code sign-in gives flexibility to your workforce.
