The Site Directory is where you manage the list of people associated with a site or project. This may include members of your team, external contractors, or visitors even. You can also designate certain individuals as Key People, which makes them visible in the mobile app under the Key People tile — helping others quickly identify who’s who and how to contact them.
The site directory is also important if you choose to restrict site sign-ins to site directory members only, since only those listed here will be able to access the site.
Managing your Site Directory
Select the Chime Time tile.
At the top, select the Sites tab.
Double-click on the site.
On the Site Profile Page, open the left-hand Explorer menu.
Select Site Directory from menu.
Use the blue buttons at the top to:
Add New People – Create a new entry.
Add Existing People from address book – add individuals from your Address Book.
To make someone a Key Person (so they appear under the Key People tile in the mobile app), tick the checkbox next to their name under Key Person.
The directory will update immediately with your changes.
Use Case
The Site Directory is usually managed by super-users, admins, or contracts managers – anyone who is responsible for a new site is being set up or maintained on the desktop.
💡 Tips
Keep the site directory up to date to avoid confusion about who is active on a project.
Use the Key Person feature to highlight supervisors, site managers, or health & safety leads.
If using sign-in restrictions, always double-check that all authorised workers have been added.
