The QR scanner is a fast way to bring up an equipment profile without having to type or browse. By simply scanning the QR code, you can instantly access key details and forms related to that piece of equipment. This speeds up daily checks and makes sure operatives always have the right information at hand.

When filling out a form, via equipment profile, you can also use the QR scanner to ensure that form is linked back to that specific piece of equipment

Using the QR Scanner for Equipment

Select the Equipment Tile.
Tap the QR Code icon on the All tab.
Camera screen will appear with blue box
Scan the QR code on the piece of equipment

The equipment profile will now open automatically.

Using the QR Scanner within a form

Select the Checklist Tile
Open up checklist
In the Equipment field, Press 'select equipment'

NB: This is not necessary when accessing a form on the individual equipment profile screen since it will pre-populate the correct piece of equipment. However, if accessing a form from elsewhere (ie Checklist tile on home screen), you can select equipment using the button and qr code).
You can either search for the specific equipment, or use the QR scanner

💡Tips

Make sure the QR code is clean and clearly visible before scanning. Dirt, damage, or glare can prevent the scanner from recognising the code.

Hold your device steady and position the QR code fully inside the blue box for the quickest scan.
