Chime reports can be customised and adapted to show the exact data you need. Once you’ve tailored a report, you can save it as a view, so you don’t need to repeat the same changes every time. Saved views make reporting quicker, easier, and more personal, while still allowing you to export data instantly.


Saving different Reporting Views

  1. Go to the Reports tab.

  2. Open the report you want to customise (e.g., Current Hours with Pay).

  3. To adjust columns:

    • Click the arrow on the right of a column.

    • A list of all available columns will appear with tick boxes.

    • Tick or untick the columns you want to view.

  4. Once you’re happy with your setup, go to the top of the screen and click Add New View.

  5. Enter a name for your view and press Save.

  6. Your new view will appear in the drop-down list next to the Add View button.

  7. To switch views, click the drop-down arrow and select your preferred saved report.

  8. To remove a view, select it and choose Delete.


Use Case

This feature is available to anyone with access to reports on Chime — from Super User Payroll to Contracts Managers — giving every role the flexibility to see the data that matters most to them.


💡 Tips

  • Use clear names for views (e.g., Payroll – Current Week or Site A Labour Hours).

  • Export saved views regularly for audits or records.

  • Delete old views to keep your list manageable.
