Each equipment type has its own profile page, which acts as a central hub for managing all information relevant to that specific type.
Here, you can add:
A photo or image of the equipment type.
User manuals or supporting documentation.
Key specifications, such as noise level restrictions, COβ output, or power rating.
Checklists or forms to standardise take-out and put-back procedures.
For example, if you have five Makita Cordless Drills, you can add a Take-Out and Put-Back Checklist to this type β these will automatically apply every time any of those drills are used or returned.

π‘ Tips
Add as much relevant detail as possible (such as specifications and manuals) to ensure operatives have all the information they need in one place.
Use type-level checklists to standardise processes β this ensures every item under that type follows the same take-out and put-back procedure.
Keep specifications up to date when equipment models change, so compliance and safety information remains accurate.
