The Inventory is the central hub where every individual item of your plant, tools, and equipment is stored, tracked, and managed in real time. Each item is organised by its category, type, and status, giving you a live view of your entire fleet. From here, you can easily add new equipment, assign it to people or stores, and maintain complete visibility across your sites.
Adding new equipment
Select the Equipment tile from the left-hand side menu.
Select the Inventory tab at the top of the screen.
Click the Add button.
A pop-up window will appear.
Select the Store to assign the new equipment to (e.g. Yard, HQ, or Site).
Select the Equipment Type from the dropdown list.
Enter the Serial Number β this must be unique to this item.
When finished, press Save.
Your new piece of equipment will now appear in your inventory list.
Double-click on the item to open its Individual Equipment Profile page.
What You Can Do on an Individual Equipment Profile Page
On the Individual Equipment Profile, you can manage and view every detail about that specific item:
Status: View colour-coded status (Green, Amber, Red). Status automatically updates if the item is due for servicing or has a fault.
Assign Equipment: Allocate responsibility for the equipment to an individual operative or user.
Ownership Details: Define whether the item is Owned or Hired.
View Takeout History: See who has taken the equipment out, when, and where.
Issues: Review any issues or faults logged against the item.
Forms: View any completed forms or checklists linked to that item.
Documents: Access manuals, safety guides, or service certificates uploaded for that item.
Comments: Add or read comments to keep communication centralised and traceable.

This feature is designed for Equipment Managers, Site Managers, Contracts Managers, or anyone who needs to monitor equipment movement, availability, and condition as well as adding new items.

Make sure your Categories and Types are all set up first
Keep serial numbers consistent and unique for better traceability.
Regularly update ownership and responsibility to avoid confusion.
