Assigning a service schedule to an individual allows you to clearly allocate responsibility for completing maintenance or servicing work on a specific piece of equipment. Once assigned, the individual (often a fitter or maintenance engineer) will be able to view the service directly in the Fitters tile on the Chime mobile app, ensuring accountability and reducing delays in servicing.


Assign Service Schedule to a Person

  1. Go to the Equipment tile and open the Inventory tab.

  2. Double-click an individual item to open its Individual Equipment Profile.

  3. At the top of the screen, select the Servicing icon.

  4. Double click on the service schedule you want to assign

  5. Click the pen icon next to ‘Assigned to’

  6. Select individual from pick list

The service is now assigned. The selected individual will be able to view and manage the service from the Fitters tile in the Chime mobile app.

  • Assign services to individuals to clearly define ownership and responsibility.

  • Fitters can view all assigned services in one place via the mobile app.

  • Use assignment alongside service schedules to keep maintenance proactive rather than reactive.

  • Reassign services easily if workloads or availability change.
