When two pieces of equipment are always used together — such as a generator and fuel pod or a tool and its charger — you can link them using a parent–child relationship. This creates a clear connection between related items, making it easier to manage, track, and assign equipment that operates as a pair.
Adding a Parent
On the Details tab, scroll to the Parent section.
Click Select Parent.
Choose the parent item from the picker list.
Press Save.
The items will now be linked, making it easy to see connected equipment.
💡 Tips
Use parent–child links for equipment that should never be separated.
Parent–child relationships improve visibility during assignment and servicing.
Linking equipment helps reduce the risk of misplaced accessories.
You can update or remove parent relationships if equipment usage changes.
