You can adjust an employee's time off allowance at any time during the year β for example, if someone's contract changes, they have brought forward days from the previous year, or you need to make a manual correction.
Changing Allowances
Select the Time Off tile from the left-hand menu
Click the Time Off Allowances tab at the top
Select the Year you want to adjust using the year picker
Click Change Allowances
Find the employee whose allowance you want to adjust (you can scroll or use search)
Update their Allowance in days (e.g., change from 20 to 25 days)
Optional: Update Hours Per Day if their working pattern is different
Click Save
The employee's allowance is now updated and will immediately reflect in their mobile app.
Use Case
This feature is predominantly used by Super Users, Admin staff, and Payroll/HR teams throughout the year when:
An employee's contract changes and they receive additional holiday
Brought forward days from the previous year need to be added
A manual correction is needed due to an error
An employee moves from part-time to full-time (or vice versa)
Most companies use this feature occasionally rather than regularly β typically only a handful of adjustments per year for individual circumstances.

Always double-check the year you're adjusting β it's easy to accidentally edit the wrong year
Changes are immediate, so the employee will see their updated allowance straight away on their app
If making multiple adjustments, work through the list systematically to avoid missing anyone
